From the 9th to the 25th of September 2011 the 48th Wine Fair will be celebrated in Binissalem, Majorca.

Binissalem is at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountain, a UNESCO heritatge site, and the region gives its name to one of Majorca's Wine Denomination of Origin. The town was declared a Historical Artistic Monument in 1983.

If you find yourself in Cala Ratjada on the second weekend of October, you will come across a festival dedicated to - a fish!

This year the 7th sweet fair is being organised in Esporles, where you'll be able to enjoy the best sweets, deserts and chocolates made by both professional and amateur chefs in Majorca.

During the fair, there are also handicraft stalls, popular dancing, a cocktail exhibition and some other activities such street exhibitions. Last year around 10.000 people visited the fair.

Every year the ascension to the highest mountain of Majorca is organized in September.

In this event you’ll have the unique oportunity to access to the last 7 kilometres of the top of the mountain which belongs to the Spanish army and it is usually closed to the general public. And also to enjoy the company of the Majorcan Black Vouchers which usually accompany the riders on the climb.
