This route crosses Majorca from the Northwest to the Southeast; from Pollença, passing through Campanet, Selva, Inca, Sencelles, Algaida, and Llucmajor to finish in Campos.
This spectacular festival happens on the third Friday in June in the grounds around the lake at Palma. If you are in Mallorca at this time, the festival is a 'must see'. You need to be in position just before dark and there are displays of Mallorcan dancing and music as well as stalls for food and drink.
In 2000, the first medieval market was organised for the 700 year commemoration of the foundation of the Capdepera Castle by King Jaume II in 1300 AD. The market repeats every year on the third weekend of May.
