A family owned 2 bed first line ground floor appartment in a small complex. The appartment has two bathrooms and occupies an elevated position overlooking the nearby beach with panoramic views of the surounding area including the monastary at San Salvador. There is a teardrop shaped communal pool and a path leading down to the beach which is just a two-three minute walk away.

Porto Cristo was formally known as Cala de Manacor until its name was changed in 1912 to commemorate the old legend that an image of Christ landed in the cove (cala) in the year 1260.

The town itself has a familiar feel to it and you could liken it to a Devon seaside town, an amalgam of perhaps Torquay, Brixham and Paignton.

If you are looking for a self catering accommodation in Manacor for your family that's conveniently located near the beach and with prices that won't break your budget while on holiday in Majorca then we just might have the perfect apartment here for you! Many apartments conveniently sleep 4 or more with aesthetics reminding one of the rustic charm of rural villas in Spain. They could be the accommodation that would be perfectly suited for you and your family.

Further up the east coast, after passing through Porto Christo going north, you will find the road signs will start directing you to such towns as Cala Bona, Cala Millor, S'illott and Sa Coma. In fact, it is possible to walk from one to the other and the boundaries seem to blur a little! Sa Coma is one of the first resorts you are directed towards.
