From it's very humble beginnings in the early days of the package (or to quote it’s official title 'inclusive') tour, the airport at Palma has been in an almost constant state of expansion.

Circular route of the surroundings of the city of Palma de Majorca.

This spectacular festival happens on the third Friday in June in the grounds around the lake at Palma. If you are in Mallorca at this time, the festival is a 'must see'. You need to be in position just before dark and there are displays of Mallorcan dancing and music as well as stalls for food and drink.

Every year, classical concerts are organised as part of the cultural activities of the March Foundation. During spring and summer they prepare a cycle of concerts with great variety including classical and popular music. For this year there are 8 concerts planned at the auditorium of The Palau March (March Palace) with free entry if you book in advance.

At the beginning of the summer season the International Nautical Fair comes to Majorca’s Palma Bay. The fair has both floating and dry dock based exhibition areas during 9 days.

The floating area exhibits over 300 sailing boats and yachts from 8 to 45 meters in length.
